Today is the 2nd Janaury already and it just one day away from getting back to normal. What I mean by that is the 3rd everyone goes back to work and kids return to school. This is bad news for them but always brings a closure to me of what has been the busiest period in the living memory of airspotters. Over 400% up on last year and myself and my wife have enjoyed our short rest bite. Why has it been so busy well i think opening up our ebay shop and listing more on Amazon has helped. However the main website has seen a surge of new customer from all over the world. Our system is great at logging first time buyers and this has been very noticeable. In January we will be putting a short survey on our website and would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete and this will be available from the 9th.

Our competitors did not appear to do anything special for Christmas very few bothered to dress there sites with sleighs and bells. It always amazes me that creating the right environment gets people to spend and it is so simply to do these days with instant updates. And besides we love doing that and its fun as well and we get lots of feedback about it all good i am glad to say.

Thanks you for all the cards and e cards we got it. It was quite touching that we got a e card from Baghdad on Christmas day. A troubled country indeed but getting that card says to me it not all bad as the news makes out.
